The beginning of a New Year always seems to bring about change or at least lots of good intentions to change. I make my fastidious list of new years resolutions on new years eve, but by the end of January they are either still on the paper I wrote them on or I just haven’t stuck to them. So much for consistency and the follow through..right?
However, this year will be different. This year I intend to stick to my silly list of new year’s resolutions or at least give it the old college try… AGAIN! At the top of my list is to read more (I know you heard it before) and this year I intend to be strict with myself and fashion mags don’t count. Then I would like to eat better which means learning how to cook better, so ultimately more time in the kitchen. JOY of COOKING…genius! Finally, my last New Year’s resolution is not to buy any more clothes for as long as I possibly can go without cracking. God this is going to be a hard one, but I want to walk into my wardrobe and not say those words, “I have nothing to wear,” ever AGAIN! I need to get more use out of my clothes God Damn it!
So there you have it 3 of my top new year’s resolutions for 2014 I will keep you all posted on my progress. Off to cook dinner now.
This blog is a place for me to share what I do with you. It is about my love for racing, family and fashion. It is also about being an older athlete and how I manage to keep my training balanced and, most of the time, injury free. I hope to inspire other ladies, regardless of age, to get up and get healthy...just try it!
